Events Coming Up
We are planning on helping out the Hutton Shearwater community by planting trees around their new predator-proof fence to help stop the birds from flying into it.
Another project that we are working on is helping Dave Lewis and Quinn Nicholls start up the new community centre!!
Also we are working towards building a new basketball court.
Previous events:
The Youth Concert was a free concert involving local DJs playing live, free food. The target audience was the youth of Kaikoura and they really enjoyed it. Poster Acknowledgement: Created by Sinead Gray
The Movie Night was a fundraiser to raise some money to help support the Mayfair Theatre and keep them running. The movie we played was Alice in Wonderland and we advertised it as a dress up. It was really fun and the movie was great! The Careers Expo was for all students to come along and get some guidance about what they want to do in the future. We decided that we should put a stall up to let them all know about the Kaikoura Youth Council and to give them our survey.
