Year 10 Homework:

Aims:

The aim of this and any homework in Art is to ...

1. Practise in order to raise ability and self confidence with some basic art skills.
2. Develop positive work habits that prepare students for further study and ensure they are better equipped to cope with deadlines.
3. Increased focus on drawing and research, allowing consistent feedback from evaluations of the homework done and thus raising the student's understanding and skill level.

Instructions:

1. Students must complete 30 minutes per week from the allocated task in the booklet.
2. Students may spend more than 30 minutes per week if they wish.
3. All students are asked to record the time they do spend on the work whether it be the bare minimum of 30 minutes or more.
4. Where it is stated that a task should take two or more weeks then this means you are expected to do two x 30 minutes, three x 30 minutes (three weeks), four x 30 minutes (four weeks) and so on.
5. Extensions are for those who are keen to do more and extend themselves.
6. Booklets are supplied but students are expected to use their own art pad paper for the work they do. This art pad is part of the stationery list.

8. The work done is to be filed in the A4 clearfile you were asked to get in the stationery list.
9. Your clearfile may be used to take home work but must be brought back on a weekly basis for homework to be marked and discussed.
