Abbey is 25 and has a passion for looking after children. She has loved children since she was about 10 years old when her baby sister, Kate, arrived on this earth. From that time she was changing nappies, putting her baby sister to bed and pretty much acting as a second mother. From 13 years of age she started babysitting and became quite a few people's regular babysitter.
Abbey was born and bred in Kaikoura. She went to Kaikoura Primary School and St Josephs for her primary and intermediate years, then went to Kaikoura High School where she completed Year 13. Abbey is unique, bubbly, respectful, responsible and trustworthy.
She is always up for new challenges and would have a lot of fun with your children. Abbey is able to cook really well, as her parents have owned and run food outlets such as a fish and chip shop and a sushi bar. She is able to build a special bond with children and they just adore her. Abbey worked at Barnardoes from the age of about 17 doing work experience, and worked there until early last year. She is in her third year of early childhood studies. She works as a nanny already and picks up a few hours at the Kaikoura Montessori which she loves. You can leave your children with Abbey and know they are safe.
