WELCOME TO THE YOUTH ENVIRO'LEADERS FORUM

The Sir Peter Blake Trust aims to help young New Zealanders make a positive difference for the planet through activities that encourage environmental awareness and action, and leadership development. The Trust wants to carry on Sir Peter"s work and keep his spirit and values alive for future generations.

This website will help you to learn about my five day leadership experience in 2011. Many activities, challenges and rewards were involved and I found that leaders soon rose to the top. The Sir Peter Blake Youth Forum allowed the delegates to experience the environment as leaders and have hands on experiences like Sir Peter Blake did. To experience the opportunity of a lifetime I had to complete the following tasks:

  1. Write a 500 word essay
  2. Prepare my curriculum vitae
  3. Obtain a review from the Principal at Kaikoura High School
  4. Obtain a passport picture
  5. Report on why I wanted to go and what I do for the community

This experience allowed delegates to make new friendships and overcome personal challenges as well as team building. I recommend this opportunity to every young leader. You should take every opportunity to get the best out of life. Sir Peter Blake said "We are here to inspire and help leadership in action".
