Charity Builders is a commercial company, not a non-profit organisation.
The company was founded by Mathew Watkins in 2003. He did his apprenticeship in the Culverden area with Mr B G Bevern as his employer. Charity Builders has two workers - Mathew himself and one employee and is situated in Wellington.

Mathew Watkins
As previously mentioned, Mathew spent several years doing his apprenticeship with Mr Bevern before setting up as a sole trader, contracting to clients for labour only, as well as full contracts. During this time, Mathew built a number of new residential and architectural homes. Some projects were undertaken in Christchurch, but predominantly they were built in Wellington, some on the side of a cliff! He has been qualified as a professional builder for 12 years now.
