About the Eco Council

Welcome to the Kaikoura High School Eco Council website. The Eco Council is a group of devoted students who care about the environment and take action to protect, preserve and sustain it.

We are aiming to be able to supply our cooking classes with fresh produce as well as supplying fresh vegetables to some families in the community with our new greenhouse and vegetable gardens.

We also organise and participate in events that help our school to create a cleaner, greener and more sustainable place to live in.
