Cheshire Cheese
Tutor: Anne-Marie Berry
Learn how to create your own versatile hard Cheshire cheese (like a creamy Edam). You can add cheese to many different meals and save money. Very good for healthy lunch boxes! Bring two pots: 10 litres and one bigger, 10 litres of milk, three lemons, mould (may be a large empty tin, cleaned with both ends cut out, no sharp edges), a weight to fit inside tin to press the cheese and a cheese cloth (Mitre 10). Rennet and starter.

Senior Chef

If you are: over 60, living on your own or with one other person, keen to learn some new cooking skills, meet old and new friends then Senior Chef is for you. It is an eight week cooking class where you can learn or improve your practical food and nutrition skills in a relaxed social and informative class. Practical sessions include supermarket shopping, budgeting, meal planning and food groups. It is all focused on cooking for one or two people.

Welding
Tutor: Damer Farrell
Know some welding? Want to know more or simply want to get the best from what you already have including metal sculpture? Learn the basics in a fun, supportive way. It is a hands-on course with techniques used in oxy-acetylene and MIG welding, fusion welding with both GAS and MIG, bronze welding and plasma cutting. All genders welcome!
